The Botanical Center
The rental of the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center or Outdoor Event Space is rented on a five-hour basis. Caterers will receive two hours of set-up and one hour for breakdown with an additional hour may be secured at a rate of $550.00 per hour with a maximum of six hours. The tent, tables, and chairs are not included in the rental fee. Your licensed and insured caterer must provide all rentals. The Botanical Center is open to the public till 4:00 pm. Receptions or Ceremony/Reception cannot begin till after 5:00 pm.

Fundraisers:
- Monday – Thursday is a 4 hour maximum for a Non-profit event and it must end by 10:00 pm.
- The attendance has to be 120 people and under.
- Over 120 people is an additional $300.

Catering Tent for Botanical Center Events
You will be charged an additional $300.00 for the 20×20 catering tent at the Botanical Center from March to November 30, as long as there is no snow.

Botanical Center Capacity
Maximum Capacity – 110 people with dinner/dancing (Band) in the Mediterranean Room.
Maximum Capacity – 130 people with dinner/dancing (DJ) in the Mediterranean Room.
Maximum Capacity – 160 people with dinner in the Mediterranean Room and dancing back in the Conservatory or the caterer can add a bump-out tent for dancing outside of the Mediterranean Room
Maximum Capacity – 300 people for a Cocktail Reception.
My husband and I had our wedding at the Roger Williams Casino on September 24th, 2016 and it was amazing! When looking for venues we found the typical, high priced country clubs which did not seem to fit our style. When we viewed Roger Williams Casino we were instantly sold. The vintage charm of the entire building is what reeled us in. When we first discovered that we would need to get a caterer, we were a bit disappointed because we thought it was going to be a hassle. Looking back, I am so glad that we had the choice because we could pick a caterer that was within our budget that made amazing food (Russell Morin). Heather was awesome throughout the process. Whenever I had a question she responded quickly and provided some great suggestions. There was a minor hiccup when scheduling our wedding pictures at The Temple to Music but Heather quickly remediated it. When booking, Heather warned us that there was a potential that the gazebo outside could be closed as it was due to be repaired. We decided to take the chance and it was in fact closed when it came time for our wedding. Initially we were disappointed but when I arrived on the day of our wedding, the downstairs in front of the fireplace was setup so beautifully. I would not change it even if I could! But the good news is the gazebo will be repaired for anyone getting married after us! The Roger Williams Casino was also convenient in that we did not have to rent tables and chairs. The tables and chairs that they have there went perfectly with the room. There are also so many photograph opportunities within the park!
